Persons with lengthy sentences will be prioritized, being removed from society for lengthy periods creates a bigger challenge reintegrating.
Ensure all persons are treated as individuals, creating personalized programs and skills development.
Resources will be provided from community-based organizations and donors to ensure continual evaluation and assistance, even upon their departure from the halfway house.
The families will be invited once incepted into the house, to be fully informed of the process and also the expectations from all parties.
Affiliation with other halfway houses, regularly discussing and address challenges in the various communities and finding solutions
Equip and train up graduates from the halfway house to enable them to sow back into communities by becoming mentors in half-way houses in their communities.
Establishing houses of safety in each community of the Western Cape, where youth at risk will have access and will receive mentorship.
